2 years agoSuper late but the animations the werewolves, vampires and casters do is annoying and they really need to make it longer/remove it entirely. I don't need the vampires randomly hissing at shit.

2 years agoI wish we'd gotten a mermaid/merman/aquatic creature pack like this! 🙁 And a fairy pack. And plant sims and aliens. Also would be cool to have zombies again. Maybe even flesh out ghosts more like this too. Imagine the game with all of those installed, each supernatural option fully fleshed out: werewolf, vampire, spellcaster, aquatic creature, zombie, plant sim, fairy, ghost, alien, elf (?), etc.

2 years agoI’m really excited about the prospect of scars, but what I really want is disabilities such as using a wheelchair or being blind. I think that would be super inclusive and so interesting to play.

2 years agoThis proves how much the sims team should update their packs instead of producing new ones so often. They should update vampires at least, and maybe fix the babies😂

2 years agoAs a fan of Vampire: The Masquerade from way back, I could see getting ALOT of use out of this pack just for the build items. Could easily use them for Brujah and Gangrel clan builds, or Sabbat or Anarchs for that matter!

2 years agoThey should definitely have a “pride pack” and introduce things like top surgery scars and more androgynous body looks/clothing styles. As an intersex person myself who was made she/her from the first surgeries it would be HUGE to be able to have representation in forms of flags and scarring.

2 years agoIf I can share my opinion vampires are lacking lore because they're so old they don't need books to keep it and mermaids that don't have lore because they don't care about it.

2 years agoHonestly the biggest issue I have it's that I wanted to become an actual wolf and have that experience we didn't with cats and dogs, where you can't play as the pets. Nice pack but nothing makes up for the fact they gave us canon furry sims

2 years agoJust got the werewolves pack ,think it's really good .Like the build and buy and CA's items .my spellcaster sim met Greg ,he was a rude so she infernated then turned him to ice then changed him into a fish so funny lollll

2 years agoThis pack is fun, been enjoying it, and im sure this game is actually functional on PC, but unfortunately I have a lot of packs and expansion for console, which happens to be the worst experience ever, extremely buggy and glitchy. 🥲🥲 The E.A we know and love, fill us with more content yet no bug fixes.

2 years agoI don't own any occult packs. I wish they would include clean, home some, modest packs. What about other cultures, where the women cover their head and body with beautiful colors clothing. Another thing I don't care for is the list to do for each aspiration, that has to be done.

2 years agoI like a lot about this pack. I just wish, esp. in other worlds, you don't run into werewolves every other night you go out now. Oh yeah, when you're not playing werewolves and your human Sims are out walking on the night of a full moon and a werewolf comes by and scares the crap out of them, that's cool, but it should be rare.
I have the same beef with aliens and vampires and ghosts though; the word occult means "hidden," wish they could figure out a way to make occult sims more discreet. The way they're so out there in your face breaks my immersion; it'd be more fun to play Sims accidentally stumbling upon the big occult secrets if they were actually, ya know, secrets.

2 years agoThey just look like humans in Dogs/Furry suits. It's not appealing to me. But uh maybe… someday I'll try it out. Was hoping for a more Classic Werewolf or Teen Wolf kind of thing rather than Dog-human. The painting and scars are awesome. Maybe it will grow on me. I really hope they do more with this like Occult wars – Vamps, vs Spellcasters vs Werewolves. Forbidden love relationships between them etc The lore is very appealing as well.

2 years agoWhat I don't get is: Why are Werewolves (in the Sims, but also True Blood for example) culturally related to what I'd read as "White Trash" or poverty, whereas vampires are always royalty. Where does this stem from, I wonder?

2 years agoI was fully expecting to want nothing to do with this pack because I do not like Occults (have never purchased Vampires or Realm of Magic) but I am tempted to get it just for the CAS and world. Maybe if I used a mod to stop Occults from spawning into lots in normal gameplay…
