3 years agoReminds me of 12yo me coding on my nokia N70 Java + Symbian s60 v2. I used to have xplore file manager by lonely cat games. Bat scripts, c# .net framework code. Dedication was real. I used to write code by reading saved pages on opera mini and run them on my dad's PC.
I still code on my phone (Android) now. I now use Acode and nvim (termux). But most of it happens on my 8yo laptop now. 🙂

3 years agoThis question is stupid. I know. But I’ll ask anyways as I am just a beginner. How do you create a website? Like you learn all these things, but where do you go code and build a website?

3 years agoSailfish OS is another option. I sometimes play around with Python code on my Sailfish OS powered Sony Xperia. Your pretty much get a full-fledged Linux terminal to do what you want with Sailfish OS. In the past I had installed the ARM version of the JVM and used to play around with languages like Javascript (Rhino & Nashorn), Jython, Groovy and of course Java. Now days its just Python and some shell scripts 🙂
