2 years agoYou think telling people you like to invert the Y axis is a problem. Try saying that you use arrow keys instead of wsad. People lose their faeces and become completely hostile.
For those that can't deal with it. It's not which keys you use that matter. You could play with your keyboard turned 180 degrees if that's what you're used to. It's your mouse set up that makes all the difference (type of mouse, mousepad, mouse weight, sensitivity, dpi, etc), especially in fps games. You don't click heads with your keyboard.

2 years agomy main complaint is i cant use the controller right away and especially the dpad for menu navigation and the a button for select and b for back id really like it if the dev added that feature as well so i dont need to use the keyboard for navigation

2 years agoWow. This looks awesome! I hope this or the sequel has a 120hz mode on PC as I love retro games at high refresh. Even 2D pixel art games looks so good at above 60fps. Cool stuff!

2 years agoIt's a shame that the soundtrack isn't quite as bangin' as Starfox's, but let's be honest here… not many soundtracks are! I'll definitely be picking this up (my original plan was to wait for the full release, but this feels like something I should support out the gate).
Also looking forward to that Starfox Complete History!

2 years agoAlright, conspiracy theory time! I believe that if the Big N added later a proper control scheme to SF Zero it would've saved it as it looks and sounds awesome, sadly you won't notice that as you are focused waving around that kindergardener tablet thingy, and since Shiggy said that depending how well SF Zero sells they will reconsider keeping the franchise alive, this was a Producers type of situation where the game was created to fail by design, as until this day, I see unsold copies of that game at my local game stores and heck, it's one of those few forsakes games that are not being considered to be ported to the Switch because my guy Shiggy is that salty over SF and he rather have it dead… Oh and BTW SF 35 3D is the better option, I mean it's portable I can play it while pretending I'm busy at the lavatory during work.
