COMING UP AHEAD. HAPPENING TODAY, DES MOINES POLICE WILL BE UPDATING US ON THE DEADLY SHOOTING THAT ERUPTED AT A LOCAL NONPROFIT. STARTS RIGHT HERE. PARENT AND RUSHED OVER YESTERDAY AFTERNOON IN FEAR THEIR CHILD WAS HURT IN THE VIOLENCE. TWO TEENS, A 16 YEAR OLD AND AN 18 YEAR OLD, WERE SHOT AND KILLED. THE FOUNDER OF THE CENTER FOR AT RISK YOUTH WAS ALSO HURT. THIS MAN, PRESTON WALLS, HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR THAT DEADLY SHOOTING. POLICE SAY HE AND THE TEENS WERE IN RIVAL GANGS. THEY BELIEVE THAT THE TEENS WERE TARGETED BECAUSE OF AN ONGOING DISPUTE. NOW, A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE STILL SHAKEN BY THE SHOOTING THAT UNFOLDED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, ESPECIALLY SINCE IT HAPPENED AT A PLACE LOOKING TO KEEP KIDS AWAY FROM THIS EXACT TYPE OF VIOLENCE.
