Austin Opera has announced the works to beryllium featured successful its Opera ATX bid during the 2022-23 season.
The ATX bid highlights caller operas, emerging artists, and experiments with alternate venues. This play is produced successful collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico successful Austin and Mexico City’s Ópera de Bellas Artes.
Opening the play is the “Bella Noche de Música” concert. The performance celebrates Latinx euphony and civilization with performances by artists from Ópera de Bellas Artes of Mexico City, classical guitarist Arnold Yzaguirre, and mariachi radical Trío Chapultepec with the Austin Opera Orchestra. Timothy Meyers conducts astatine the Moody Amphitheater astatine Waterloo Park.
