Australian teenager dies after shark attack in river

A 16-year-old miss has died aft being attacked by a shark portion swimming successful a stream successful Western Australia.

She was pronounced dormant aft being pulled from the Swan River, successful the Perth suburb of Fremantle, connected Saturday.

It is believed the girl, from Perth, was riding pitchy skis with friends connected the stream erstwhile the incidental happened.

Inspector Paul Robinson, from Western Australia Police, said it was imaginable the miss had jumped successful the h2o to aquatics with dolphins seen nearby.

He described the incidental arsenic "very, precise traumatic" and the household of the miss was "absolutely devastated by the news".
