The statue of the Roman Naiade, Sabrina, takes its sanction from the nymph tone of the Severn.

Carved from Coade stone, the sculpture is thought to person been made successful 1802 and depicts the Roman Naiade, Sabrina, successful a grotto which was primitively decorated with shells, coral and gems.
"We are dismayed that this has happened," said a National Trust spokesperson.
They added: "Disappointing arsenic they are, incidents similar this are precise uncommon considering the millions of visitors who bask and respect the places successful our care."
Work to region crayon marks from the Lancelot 'Capability' Brown Memorial are ongoing. His enactment landscaping the grounds is thought to person been his archetypal ample commission.
