GREAT BARRINGTON — Dena Fisher of Volunteers successful Medicine has been named to the committee of Community Health Programs.
Fisher, a Great Barrington resident, holds a doctorate successful wellness and societal argumentation from Brandeis University and a master’s grade successful societal enactment from New York University.
She earned her undergraduate grade successful mathematics and sociology from Queens College successful New York. In addition, she holds a post-graduate certification successful societal and wellness readying from the Columbia University School of Social Work.
Her nonrecreational past includes extended enactment with nonprofit organizations, the Peace Corps and nongovernmental organizations successful Latin America and the U.S, wherever she held roles successful societal work, nationalist health, advocacy and administration.
More recently, she worked with the New Sanctuary Coalition successful New York City assisting undocumented immigrants. She present works astatine Volunteers successful Medicine successful Great Barrington, providing administrative enactment and attraction absorption for undocumented migrant patients.
