A haul of jewellery recovered astatine the bottommost of a stream and handed into constabulary is believed to beryllium worthy astir £10,000.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a diver contacted them aft making the find successful the Helford stream adjacent Falmouth.
The haul included a fig of rings and pendants and officers are hoping to reunite them with their owner.
PC Victoria Swan said: "Some of the rings and pendants are precise distinctive.
"We are hoping to find the proprietor arsenic it is wide the jewellery is of immense sentimental value."
