A custom-made overgarment worn by Elvis Presley has sold for much than £120,000 astatine auction.
The leather and mink garment, worn by Elvis Presley during the past twelvemonth of his life, went nether the hammer astatine Henry Aldridge & Son auctions successful Devizes, Wiltshire connected Saturday.
It was purchased for £128,000 by a US collector.
Elvis Presley gave the garment, which is 120cm (4ft) successful length, to the member of his fiancée Ginger Alden earlier his decease successful 1977.
The batch was accompanied by a missive of authenticity from Rosemary Alden Starkey, who is Ginger Alden's sister.
Auctioneer Henry Aldridge had antecedently said they acquired the overgarment from a lawsuit who had bought the garment during an yearly Elvis Presley auction held astatine the singer's erstwhile location astatine Graceland, successful Memphis, Tennessee.
