High school student dies after suffering ‘medical emergency’ during athletic event - WTNH.com

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas precocious schoolhouse pupil died Thursday aft suffering a “medical emergency” during an diversion event, according to the school’s principal.

“Staff instantly began providing aesculapian assistance and continued until paramedics arrived,” Ian Salzman, main of Desert Oasis High School, said successful an email sent to students’ families. “It is with a dense bosom that I pass you that the pupil passed away.”

The pupil was identified arsenic 16-year-old Ashari Hughes by the Clark County Coroner’s office. Her origin and mode of decease were not instantly released.
