A 28-year-old antheral has been arrested pursuing reports of idiosyncratic acting "suspiciously" adjacent the location of Scotland's caller archetypal minister.

Police said they were called astatine 19:40 BST connected Saturday to Charlotte Square successful Edinburgh - the tract of Humza Yousaf's authoritative Bute House residence.

There was "no menace to the wider public", they said. The Scottish Government declined to comment.

Mr Yousaf became archetypal curate earlier this week aft being made SNP leader.
