Government borrowing continued to surge successful March owed the outgo of supporting households with their vigor bills.
Borrowing, the quality betwixt spending and taxation income, was £21.5bn, past month, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
That is the second-highest March borrowing fig since monthly records began successful 1993.
The ONS said a emergence successful taxation receipts was offset by higher spending connected vigor enactment for households and businesses.
