The parent of missing Savannah, Georgia, toddler Quinton Simon has been charged with his execution aft remains were recovered astatine a landfill, constabulary announced Monday.

Leilani Simon, 22, reported her 20-month-old lad missing connected Oct. 5. One week later, Chatham County constabulary said they believed Quinton was dormant and authorities named the boy's parent arsenic the superior suspect.

Simon has been charged with malice murder, concealing the decease of different person, mendacious reporting and making mendacious statements, according to Chatham County police.
