AMSA informs that from 1 January 2023, Marine Order 52 (Yachts and grooming vessels) 2022 volition travel into effect. Marine Order 52 (MO52) establishes survey, attraction and certification requirements for regulated Australian vessels (RAVs) that are yachts oregon grooming vessels.

The caller MO52 incorporates the Red Ensign Group (REG) Yacht Code Part A and the accompanying Australian National Annex. The REG Yacht Code Part A updates the REG Large Yacht Code (known arsenic the LY3 Code) and:

  • further develops the well-established manufacture standards of the LY3 Code
