Ray Jones, Ph.D., Department of Medicine
Ray Jones, Ph.D., joined the Department of Medicine, Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care, arsenic an Assistant Professor connected July 1.
Ray Jones received a Ph.D. successful Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology from the University of Southern Mississippi successful earlier completing his postdoctoral grooming successful the UAB’s Department of Medicine-Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care. Jones has published connected vascular health, function, and manner behaviors, specifically knowing the heart-brain relationship.
Jones’s probe interests see aging, vascular function, number health, wellness disparities, carnal activity, and HIV. Jones has progressive projects connected HIV and Aging, including his UAB K12 Career Development Award entitled: “Central Vascular Implications successful Neurocognitive Functioning among Older Adults with HIV.” He holds memberships successful the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Heart Association, and the Gerontological Society of America.
