Justin Allison, 37, from Ebbw Vale, pleaded blameworthy to charges of owning a banned breed, being successful complaint of a canine that was dangerously retired of power and possessing a knife.
Newport Magistrates' Court heard the canine attacked the miss arsenic she got retired of a car successful Nantyglo, Blaenau Gwent, in October - with the carnal moving towards her "very fast" and "reaching her successful seconds".
Prosecutor Lisa Lewis said the canine was " growling" and the miss was "very scared".
The tribunal heard however the canine jumped connected the girl's backmost and past "latched onto her arm" arsenic she tried to screen her head, with the girl's begetter yet wrestling with the dog.
Ms Lewis said the miss recalled however the proprietor appeared but "didn't travel adjacent and wouldn't bash anything" and was "not bothered" astir helping her father.
