The caput of England's largest non-metropolitan constabulary unit has been suspended from his relation with contiguous effect.
Thames Valley's Police and Crime Commissioner said Chief Constable Jason Hogg was presently being investigated by the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) for gross misconduct.
The probe involves concerns that the Mr Hogg failed to adequately analyse allegations astir the improper retention of delicate constabulary information.
PCC Matthew Barber said an interim assignment would beryllium made by the extremity of January.
