Plunging temperatures person brought "ice pancakes" to a stream successful North Yorkshire.

The phenomenon, which is caused erstwhile foam floating connected the apical of a stream freezes, was spotted connected the River Wharfe adjacent Bolton Priory connected Wednesday.

They were photographed by canine walker Michael Cox, who said helium visits the country regularly but had ne'er seen the crystal pancakes before.
