(SATELLITE LOCAL) LOW CLOUDS HAVE BEEN SLOW TO MAKE THEIR WAY INTO THE REGION INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. (SATELLITE AND RADAR PACIFIC) A LOW PRESSURE DISTURBANCE MOVED ACROSS OUR REGION YESTERDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. IT IS CURRENTLY EXITING THE REGION. (FORECAST RIVER FLOODING) THE SAN LORENZO RIVER IS FORECAST TO REACH THE MINOR FLOOD STAGE AT ABOUT 17 FEET TODAY. THE PAJARO RIVER AT CHITTENDEN IS FORECAST TO REACH THE ACTION STAGE TODAY. THE SALINAS RIVER NEAR SPRECKELS IS FORECAST TO REMAIN IN THE ACTION STAGE BUT APPROACH THE MINOR FLOOD STAGE BY WEDNESDAY. (FUTURECAST) THE SYSTEM WHICH BROUGH RAIN LAST NIGHT EXITS OUT OF THE REGION THIS MORNING. SHOWERS, HEAVY AT TIMES WILL BE LIKELY TODAY, ESPECIALLY IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS. SHOWER CHANCES WILL TAPER OFF HEADED INTO THE EVENING HOURS. TUESDAY WILL BRING MOSTLY SUNNY CONDITIONS. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING, RAIN CHANCES RETURN AS A COLD FRONT SWEEPS ACROSS THE REGION. WE RETURN TO MOSTLY SUNNY CONDITIONS HEADED INTO THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK.
