Suspected explosive devices found outside of Colorado Springs home - KRDO

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Early Thanksgiving morning, Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers were dispatched to a location connected the southbound extremity of the metropolis connected a "reported harm call."

According to CSPD, responding officers discovered what appeared to beryllium a shotgun blast to the rear of the location that penetrated siding and a model pane. Upon further examination, the officers recovered the remnants of an improvised explosive instrumentality (IED) and what appeared to beryllium an unexploded IED.

CSPD said the Regional Explosives Unit responded and rendered the unexploded instrumentality safe.

All of the devices recovered astatine the determination were collected for evidence.

CSPD said their probe into this incidental continues and determination is nary further accusation disposable astatine this time.
