Thousands take part in Great Birmingham Run

Thousands of radical person taken portion successful the Great Birmingham Run connected a caller course, which organisers said showcased the champion of the city.

The updated way saw runners statesman successful Centenary Square, earlier they took successful the Jewellery Quarter and Digbeth.

Some finished a 10km route, portion others went connected to Edgbaston for the fractional marathon.

There were besides 500 mini and inferior runners taking portion connected Sunday, organisers said.

Among those to decorativeness the fractional marathon was West Midlands Police serviceman Jess Davies, who ran successful representation of murdered Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.

Arthur, six, was killed by his step-mother Emma Tustin and his begetter Thomas Hughes successful Solihull, successful June 2020.
