Walmart Inc. has agreed to wage $3.1 cardinal to settee opioid-crisis lawsuits brought by respective U.S. states and municipalities, adding to a landmark colony with rival pharmacy chains.

The statement resolves a postulation of lawsuits brought by states, cities and Native American tribes. Earlier this month, CVS Health Corp. and Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. agreed to wage astir $5 cardinal apiece to settee the lawsuits. The companies didn’t admit wrongdoing successful their deals.
