Four children person been recovered alive, weeks aft a level clang successful the Amazon jungle.

Colombia's president said the rescue of the siblings, aged 13, nine, 4 and one, was "a joyousness for the full country".

The children's parent and 2 pilots were killed erstwhile their airy craft crashed successful the jungle connected 1 May.

Video footage showed the youngsters being airlifted to safety.
