Neighborly Reviews Bookcast Ep. #22: Love Without Wings: An Adoption Fairytale

1 year ago 108

The word "yet" implies that whatever a person still needs to learn or accomplish is still attainable, regardless of any setbacks. It also reassures us that success can be possible, even after failing, and that things that were difficult in the past can be better in the future. 🙏🏻

It is heartwarming to know that the power of "yet" usually reflects a familial bond of unconditional love and support. 💜

Parents and families have a unique opportunity to help children reframe their thinking about mistakes and failures by teaching that failure is not a judgment, but only a result of not having achieved what was desired...yet. 👦🏿👦🏽👦👧👧🏽👧🏿

And so, as we wind down the year, two of our fellow neighbors are helping kids discover the power of "yet" and inspiring adults to reconnect to the feeling of that magical word, while helping us all to remember that with a positive attitude and a little bit of patience, that miracles are possible and that your "yet" can become your reality. ✨

We cordially invite you and your little ones to join David Newell (who played the beloved Mr. McFeely on Mister Rogers Neighborhood), along with our John Masiulionis and Little Forrest for Episode #22 of PR From The Heart's Neighborly Reviews Bookcast, as they share Gina Giordano's Yet and Adam Swain Ferguson's Love Without Wings: An Adoption Fairytale. 📚

We encourage you, our fellow neighbors, to support Gina and Adam by purchasing your copies of Yet and Love Without Wings: An Adoption Fairytale and enjoying these empowering reads with your little ones:
