"Better Times" is the third song of the newly released album "Beneath The Surface", I wrote this song on my first Ukulele when I worked on a small Island called Carriacou in Grenada in 2012, It's the oldest song on the album and the first one I recorded as well. It's a song about love, life and how both are changing with time.

Lyrics:
We knew some better times
In between those lines
Green and blue
We missed too many signs
On the way to where
We got to
I am always on the run
From those things I thought
Did me wrong
I always chase a sun
Like a bird I can't
Get too close
She doesn't want to go
Far away from where
She was born
She doesn't need to know
All the things I do
When I'm gone
Love tricks me every time
And now that it's gone
Guilt follows
Love I cannot rewind
And now that it's gone
We're too close
